We're excited to announce a new acquisition of an early work by Piet Mondrian to be added to the Bloch collection when it goes on view in 2017. "Stammer Mill with Streaked Sky," 1905-1907, is an early landscape by Mondrian that represents both an extension of the Dutch landscape tradition in the 17th century and a significant turning point for the artist into abstraction.

Honda's Revamped Fit Breaks Toyota Corolla's Winning Streak (詳後 日文處)
By Makiko Kitamura

Dec. 6 (Bloomberg) -- Honda Motor Co.'s redesigned Fit compact car overtook Toyota Motor Corp.'s Corolla compact as Japan's best-selling car model in November, ending a 13-month streak for the Corolla.

Honda more than doubled sales of the Fit to 18,138 cars, the Japan Automobile Dealers Association said in a release today. Honda released the revamped Fit on Oct. 26. Toyota's Corolla took the second spot as sales fell 10 percent from a year earlier to 15,348.

Toyota claimed eight of the top 10 slots in last month's sales rankings, excluding minicars. Honda, Japan's second- biggest automaker, had one and Nissan Motor Co., Japan's third- largest automaker, had one with the Serena minivan.

Including minicars, the Wagon R minicar, made by Suzuki Motor Corp., was the second-bestselling model.
