Tim Geithner, US Treasury secretary, said yesterday “the financial system is starting to heal” as he pledged to recycle returned bank bail-out funds into small community banks.	美国财长蒂姆•盖特纳(Tim Geithner)昨日表示，“金融体系正开始愈合”。他承诺，将会把大银行归还的纾困资金，再投入到小型社区银行。
Citing improving lending conditions, easing concerns about systemic risk and lower leverage at banks, Mr Geithner said “a substantial part of the adjustment process” for the financial sector was now over.	在列举了放贷条件改善、对系统性风险的担忧减轻以及银行杠杆率降低等情况之后，盖特纳表示，金融业“调整过程的相当大一部分”已经完成。
As some larger banks become confident enough to repay funds from the government's troubled asset relief programme, the Treasury will recycle that money into smaller banks with under $500m (€366m, £329m) in assets, Mr Geithner said.
