Ska is aware, but not too angry; socially conscious yet catchy. It is a sweet tonic in a sour era. From February 2019

A songwriting AI wrote a little piano ditty and it's actually pretty catchy. Hear it for yourself and be the judge.

Headbanging hair meets flying hands: The Chinese pianist Lang Lang and the heavy metal band Metallica will perform together at the 56th annual Grammy Awards on Jan. 26.
Let us consider "Carillon" – "chimes" – where we find the poet in a shabby hotel in Bruges, lying on the bed with his arms stretched out, "an anchor that has dug itself down and holds steady / the huge shadow floating up there / the great unknown". Or think of the picture of defencelessness in the line, "I have low beaches, if death rises six inches I shall be flooded." What is important is not such separate images but the overall vision where they form a part. The easily flooded poet is the defenceless centre where now different epochs, now far and near converge. Also the anchor chain from the great unknown centres towards this unpretentious subject. But, in this poem, there is an opposite movement as well. The room's window faces "The Wild Market Square" and the condition of the soul is projected there: "What I carry within me is materialised there, all terrors, all expectations." There is a movement both inwards and outwards. Once "the sack splits along its seams and the chimes roll out across Flanders", next time the same bells "bear us home" on their wings. The metaphors lend a sensuous precision to this huge breathing. Remarkably, this complex text is almost weightless, and speaks immediately to our senses.

"It pops up after you start the system. You can’t cut it short but have to wait till the song finishes," said Li Tong, manager of a Party World karaoke venue.「家樂迪」KTV一家分店的店經理李同(譯音)說:「一打開(K歌)系統它(反毒宣導影片與歌曲)就會跳出來。你不能切歌,得等到這首歌唱完。」

"Some sing to it. The tunes are quite catchy."「有些人會跟著唱。旋律還挺朗朗上口的。」

The drywall apparently causes a chemical reaction that releases fumes that reek like rotten eggs and grow worse with heat and humidity.
U.S. homeowners blame the drywall for health woes such as itchy eyes and skin, difficulty breathing, persistent coughing and bloody noses as well as corrosion of electrical wiring and home appliances.

There are swaths of Drucker’s encyclopedic oeuvre that no longer resonate. They reek of the hair tonic and smoky rooms of 1950s manufacturing companies. But The Essential Drucker, edited and introduced by the man himself, is still remarkably fresh. The essays, a series of incontrovertible meditations on the art of management, are shot through with humanism. Drucker was never a headbanger and rarely a bore.
