Is Danish in danger of dying out?

The Danes, like their Scandinavian neighbours, appear to have a gift for
languages. Most seem to speak good English which makes life easier for
English-speaking tourists in Denmark. But it's worrying some Danish
language experts and politicians.

The evolution of 'Denglish'

If you take into account some 82 million citizens of Germany, add Austria, parts of Switzerland and other regions along the fringes of these countries, then it's not surprising that Deutsch, the German language, has a large footprint across Europe.

However, in a globalised world of international business and commerce, English words and expressions are increasingly working their way into German.
It's getting to the stage where many German speakers are asking what has happened to their language.
