The Importance of Plankton
Conversations about biodiversity usually centre on a cute, furry animal that’s in danger of becoming extinct – perhaps a panda -- with which the public can easily identify.
But what about those organisms which are so small that you need a microscope just to see them? Let’s say… something like plankton. These organisms rarely get the attention they deserve, especially considering they are at the bottom of the oceanic food chain. Andrew Ryan went to the tiny islands of Helgoland in the North Sea to find out how plankton lie at the heart of dramatic changes taking place in our oceans.

Porpoise - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Porpoise
Porpoises are a group of fully aquatic marine mammals, that are sometimes referred to as mereswine, all of which are classified under the family Phocoenidae, parvorder Odontoceti (toothed whales). There are eight extant species of porpoise.
