Court: Norway violated mass murderer Breivik's human rights

A court in Oslo has ruled that the mass murderer was subjected to "inhuman
or degrading treatment" in solitary confinement in jail. The Norwegian
state must now cover Breivik's legal fees.

sin ：罪；罪惡；罪過；過（缺）失：指違反良心判斷的行為，亦即明知故犯天主的誡命，亦即違反天意之思想或行為。拉丁文稱作 culpa 或 peccatum 。參閱 guilt 。
sin, grave ：大罪；重罪；死罪：在嚴重事項上明知故犯天主的誡命，因犯罪者自絕於天主之寵愛，與天主為敵，形同自殺，故又稱作死罪。

sin, personal ：本罪；己罪：指個人違反自然律或神律的行為，由本（個）人負責。與原罪 sin, original 有別，因為原罪直接由始祖亞當與夏娃負責。
sin, venial ：小罪：在小事上違反天主的誡命，或雖在大事上，但並不太明瞭、或並非完全故意的違反天意，因此並未自絕於天主，故易於獲得赦免。
sin against Holy Spirit ：違反天主聖神的罪：是不可寬恕之罪（瑪十二 31-32 ）。耶穌治好了又瞎又啞的人後，硬心腸的法利塞人，不歸功於天主，卻將此聖神的善行歸功於惡魔（谷三 23-30 ）。此罪不得赦的原故，是因犯罪的人，立意不看真理，缺少了得赦必具的痛悔條件。聖思定解釋為「拒絕天主，至死不悔改者」，就是說，罪人若無心悔改，天主就無法寬恕他。
sin that cry to Heaven for vengeance ：呼籲上天懲罰的罪；招天怒之罪：如任意殺人、欺壓孤兒寡婦、剝削勞工等不義之罪，有時會招致天主立即的懲罰。
