The Santa Fe, N.M.-based interactive art playground Meow Wolf has been expanding rapidly, with five locations nationwide and another set to open in Los Angeles in 2026. It’s a psychedelic steampunk funhouse that appeals to kids (and parents), with fewer trinkets hocked than the typical theme park. The One Year Portal Pass is not cheap, but it’s not an experience they’ll forget either.
