Holy Year
Chemical sanitisation became a national obsession for South Koreans in the 1980s. But the link to disinfectants of dozens of cases of lung disease, some of them fatal, is changing shopping habits

The working title of the show was Florizel Street, but a tea lady named Agnes remarked that "Florizel" sounded like a brand of disinfectant消毒剤. so the name was changed.[6] The choice of new name was between Jubilee Street and Coronation Street, with Granada executives Harry Latham, Harry Elton and H.V. Kershaw deciding on the latter.[7]

tea lady is a woman in an office or working environment, whose sole job is to provide beverages and/or light snacks during the allocated tea break. Tea ladies are a mainly British custom. They were either present in a works canteen, or perhaps came round with a trolley, on which was usually a tea urn full of either hot tea or hot water, and perhaps a selection of cakes and buns.
