一戰後美國雖然邁入禁酒令時代，但仍是一片杯光觥影，笙歌處處，美國社會、經濟以最快的速度向前狂飆，史稱「咆哮二〇年代」。直到1929年股市崩盤，全國陷入經濟大蕭條才從雲端跌落凡間。特展學術策展人陳榮彬副教授以「咆哮年代的醇酒美食」為題，剖析美國禁酒歷史背景及內在因素，並與臺南老屋酒吧BarHome 作，重現海明威、福克納經典代表飲品，甚至是經濟大蕭條時期美國政府背書代言的小點心。
