奈特和他的博客
奈特承认说,错误的原因是没有检查。
主管英格兰中小学教育的吉姆•奈特(Jim Knight)最近被媒体揭短,被曝光在网络博客上尽写别字,遭揶揄连小学课程还没过关。

奈特的英语单词拼写似乎很成问题,最弄不清楚的就是字母“i”,不知道何时放在“e”前面,何时放在后面。

在他的网上博客中,人们发现他将received写成recieved;将convinced拼写成convicned;将achieving写成acheiving。

此外,“e”和“a”也是他犯怵的。比如,将maintenance写成maintainence,archaeological写成archeaological。

奈特对此也感到难堪。他说有时他是在上下班乘车的路上更新博客内容的,难免会出错。

不过,他也承认,减少别字关键在于检查。“我的拼写其实还不错,今后我一定要多做检查。”

他说:“我读小学的时候,我的老师总是要求我们多检查拼写。”

大家不要小瞧了奈特这位高官,要知道他是剑桥大学毕业的。看来,拼写好坏,关键在于态度。
