	奈特承认说，错误的原因是没有检查。

主管英格兰中小学教育的吉姆•奈特（Jim Knight）最近被媒体揭短，被曝光在网络博客上尽写别字，遭揶揄连小学课程还没过关。

奈特的英语单词拼写似乎很成问题，最弄不清楚的就是字母“i”，不知道何时放在“e”前面，何时放在后面。

在他的网上博客中，人们发现他将received写成recieved；将convinced拼写成convicned；将achieving写成acheiving。

此外，“e”和“a”也是他犯怵的。比如，将maintenance写成maintainence，archaeological写成archeaological。

奈特对此也感到难堪。他说有时他是在上下班乘车的路上更新博客内容的，难免会出错。

不过，他也承认，减少别字关键在于检查。“我的拼写其实还不错，今后我一定要多做检查。”

他说：“我读小学的时候，我的老师总是要求我们多检查拼写。”

大家不要小瞧了奈特这位高官，要知道他是剑桥大学毕业的。看来，拼写好坏，关键在于态度。
