【廣島受難者輓歌】

作曲家給予世界的影響，如果僅只於音樂上，或許不會那麼被人懷念。在核武發展快速，兩次世界大戰前後爆發的二十世紀，潘德列茨基能夠以被侵略國國民的身分，向侵略國及其受難者致意，是弭平戰後紛亂和國與國之間芥蒂的人道精神表現。他把音樂標題注入其中，再次提醒世人戰爭的無情與和平的可貴。
