Pet and company names change with the times

Most people would assume that the words choco (chocolate), maron (chestnut) and momo (peach) are associated with cakes or ice cream. But actually, they are the three most popular names for pet dogs these days, according to a survey by Anicom, a major provider of health insurance for pet animals.

The company looked into the names of some 68,000 puppies up to 11 months old whose owners signed them up for health insurance plans offered by the company from October 2006 to September 2007.
