GERMANS AND HEARING DEFICIENCY
A few days ago, German ear specialists called for the nation to listen well. In fact, they asked Germans to do a hearing test! They warned that an estimated 15 million Germans - that's every fifth adult under 70 and every second older than 70 - are hard of hearing. But not just the elderly are affected! Around 30% of young Germans are believed to have a hearing deficiency.
