忠泰美術館2020年暑期大展《SOS拯救混凝土之獸！粗獷主義建築展》，與德國建築博物館共同策劃，繼2013年忠泰基金會推出《代謝派未來都市展》後，持續多元建築藝術推廣的展覽宗旨，以1950至1970年代全球粗獷主義建築的調查，從「建築運動」的角度，共同關注粗獷主義建築搶救、保存的倡議，並反思我們當今所處的城市是從何影響而來。
粗獷主義起源於社會動盪不安的戰後時期，當時建築師們面對資源有限、社會重建的環境，仍無畏挑戰，透過設計呈現出建材最原始的樣貌，讓粗獷主義建築作品不僅帶有實驗精神，也極具個性。本展自2017年於德國首度展出結束後，陸續巡迴至維也納、波琴及阿倫等城市，2020年首次跨出歐洲，於臺北忠泰美術館舉辦亞洲首展。從原展覽的內容基礎發展，新增六件臺灣粗獷主義建築案例的研究，以強化台灣視角。更與六所大學建築系之師生共同合作，於「建築教育工作坊」製作八座建築模型並於展覽中展示。
《SOS拯救混凝土之獸！粗獷主義建築展》展出總計近百件粗獷主義建築案例，以知性卻不失趣味的展場設計，帶領觀眾一窺在全球化的影響下，不約而同發展的粗獷主義建築及作品之間的關係性，作為跨國際、跨館所及館校合作的展覽，歡迎觀眾朋友們一起探索並沉浸在粗獷主義的建築潮流之中。
