英國勞斯萊斯首次公開了新車型“RR4”的設計草圖。RR4將作為與“幻影（Phantom）”並列的新車系列于2010年上市。該公司預定在該車型上配備新型引擎，目前正在以行駛性能為重點推進開發。該車型比“幻影”小，休閒性較強。

　　為了生產RR4，該公司正在英國古德伍德（Goodwood）工廠完善生產設備，包括擴大塗裝部門及木材皮革加工部門、增設第二組裝生產線等。新車型的生產準備計劃從09年全面啟動，將採用兩班倒生產體制。（記者：櫛谷沙江子）
