New President for S. Korea

South Korea has a new president to succeed Roh Moo-hyun. Lee Myung-bak takes up the post with a mandate to boost the economy and take a tougher line on nuclear-armed North Korea. The conservative, pro-US Lee is nicknamed "The Bulldozer" for the tough image he built as a
construction company CEO and later as mayor of Seoul. The 66-year-old was sworn in before international dignitaries, including US Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice.
