Facebook in No Rush to 'Friend' Wall Street
The eventual IPO of social-networking site Facebook could make its founder the world's richest 25-year-old. Yet CEO Mark Zuckerberg seems intent on deferring that multibillion dollar payday.

According to Dentsu Communication Institute, which published a list of popular consumer items last week, uchi-gomori (staying at home) is the buzzword that defines people's interest in saving money and enjoying quality time at home.

quality time
n.

Time during which one focuses on or dedicates oneself to a person or activity: “When you decide to turn on the TV, you decide … not to spend quality time with your family” (Steve Tschirhart).

Quality time is an informal reference to time spent with loved ones (eg. close family, partners or friends) which is in some way important or special. It may also refer to time spent performing some favored activity (eg. a hobby). The opportunity to experience quality time, or the actual time available to enjoy quality time is often limited. However, this is outweighed by the importance, intensity or value attached to events or interactions which occur during quality time. Quality time therefore has a degree of emotional or social "quality" which other aspects of personal life may lack. Busy parents may also use the term to justify the limited amount of overall time they spend with their children.
