Honda more than doubled sales of the Fit to 18,138 cars, the Japan Automobile Dealers Association said in a release today. Honda released the revamped Fit on Oct. 26. Toyota's Corolla took the second spot as sales fell 10 percent from a year earlier to 15,348.

Including minicars, the Wagon R minicar, made by Suzuki Motor Corp., was the second-bestselling model.
